Himi Horikoshi offers traditional Japanese acupuncture and shiatsu massage, with a personalised approach that considers your body's needs, muscle tension, pain and overall wellbeing.
Whether you are experiencing muscle stiffness, ongoing aches and pains, physical tension or stress, your session is tailored to your individual needs.
Himi Horikoshi studied psychology in Japan before completing three years of professional training in acupuncture, shiatsu and moxibustion in Sendai, Japan.
She received her Japanese national qualification in 2001 and has practised in Japan and New Zealand for more than 25 years.

She has also trained in Aikido( Martial Arts ) for 13 years, developing a deeper understanding of movement , balance and body awareness.
She has lived in Auckland for many years and is happy to support the local community through her work.

Her approach combines traditional Japanese techniques with a thoughtful understanding of the relationship between physical sensation, stress and wellbeing.
